"1001 Nights" train reaches winder towers

“1001 Nights” tourist train carrying international tourists to different parts of Iran has entered the Iranian province of Yazd.   

According to a media report, the train for “1001 Nights” tour entered Yazd on Monday with officials from the province welcoming the international tourists at their arrival.

At least 57 tourists coming from 11 countries such as the UK, Belgium and Germany previously visited Iranian holy city of Mashhad on the same train and will go to other Iranian provinces such as Tehran Isfahan and Fars in the near future.

The tourist train “1001 Nights” arrived in Iran September 23 through Sarakhs border city in Razavi Khorasan Province.

Mohammad Reza Nasiri, an Iranian culture official, told media that the tourists will end their 8-day tour of Iran on October 1.” 

This marks the 21 international tourist train entering Iran.

Yazd city enjoying unique historical texture is famous for its wind towers, among other attractions. The historic city of Yazd is a UNESCO heritage site as well.
